He becomes a professional at the age of twenty in 2013 he won the Professional Golf tournament organised at Memphis “ The FedEx St. Jude Classic”. He has won both the season in 2016 & 2017. He was born on 7th April 1993 in a Jewish family in Plantation, a city in Broward County, southeastern Florida in the United States. His mother’s name is Nadia & father Jay Berger is an American Professional former tennis player. 

He started playing golf at the age of eleven & had his first  “hole in one” at the age of thirteen. He becomes a graduate at the William T. Dwyer High School in Florida. After that, he played college golf at “Florida State Seminoles men’s golf” Daniel Bergerin Tallahassee which is the capital city of Florida. 

Career

In 2013 he won the both SunTrust Gator Invitational and the Seminole Intercollegiate, and that season he led the “Atlantic Coast Conference” (ACC). He was named a two-time first-team “All American” by the “Golf Coaches Association of America”.

In 2013 he qualified for the developmental tour of the U.S.Based PGA tour “The Korn Ferry Tour”. He ranked 15th in the season which gave him the promotion for the PGA tour for the 2014-15 season.

In The “Honda Classic” 2015, a professional golf tournament on the PGA tour in South Florida he shot a 6-under-par 64 in the final round. Almost one month later at the “Arnold Palmer Invitational”, he made a “double eagle”  at the par-5 sixth hole during the third round.

In the 2015 “FedEx Cup Playoffs,” he finished in 11th ranking & 25th on the “Money List” with earnings of $ 3 million (Rs 22.35 Cr). He also becomes the PGA Tour “Rookie of the Year”.

His first PGA Tour win comes in June 2016 at the “ FedEx St. Jude Classic” which gives him the rank 29th in the “Official World Golf Ranking” with the earnings of $ 1.1 million (Rs 8.19 Cr). Later that season he successfully retained his FedEx St. Jude Classic title & promoted to the ranks of 24th in the World.

At the links-style golf club located in New York “Shinnecock Hills Golf Club,” he shot a third-round 66, putting him in a 4-way tie for the lead with American Professional golfer Dustin Johnson. On 14th June 2020, he won the 2020 “Charles Schwab Challenge” & receive a winning check of $ 1.375 million (Rs 10.24 Cr). He won the tournament when American Professional golfer Collin Morikawa missed a very short putt for par on the first playoff hole. After that, he ranks 31 in the World.

He also won the 2021 “AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am” shooting a 65 in the final round.
