He is an Indian cricketer who plays for Hyderabad in Telangana state of India and Royal Challengers Bangalore in the Indian Premier League (IPL). He is a right-handed batsman & right-arm medium-fast bowler. He is one of the most emerging players of team India.
He was born on 13th March in 1994. He was born in Hyderabad, Telangana. Hyderabad is the capital & the largest city in the Telangana state of India. His father, Mohammed Ghouse, died due to a lung ailment. The incident happened when he was in Australia with the Indian cricket team. He died only at the age of 53 . and his mother Shabana Begum is a housewife.
He completed his school education from the School Safa Junior College, Nampally, Hyderabad. He has completed the 12th standard from this school.
He was very much upset after the news about his father’s death but somehow he took control of the situation and made his Boxing day test debut on December 26th in Melbourne, Australia.
In “Vijay Hazare Trophy” on the month of February 2018 he was the topmost wicket-taker with 23 wickets in just seven matches.
He also made his first-class cricket debut in the Ranji Trophy for the Hyderabad in the 2015-16 season on the month of November in 2015.
Next season of the Ranji Trophy in 2016-17 season he becomes the highest wicket-taker for his team Hyderabad with 41 wickets with an average of 18.92.
He made his Twenty20 debut in the 2015-16 season for the Hyderabad in Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy on the month of January in 2016.
He selected for India’s National Team for Twenty20 International on October 2017 against New Zealand. He made his Twenty20 debut for India against New Zealand on 4th November 2017 by taking the wicket of Kane Williamson, currently, he is the Captain of New Zealand National Team in all formats. He finished the match by taking 1 wicket for 53 in four overs.
He also selected in the Nidahas Trophy for India’s National Team for Twenty20 International on February 2018.
Apart from the Twenty20 he also selected for the Test Team for the West Indies series in September 2018, but he was not played on that series.
The same year in December month he also selected for the One Day International (ODI) against the Australia series. He made his ODI debut against Australia in Adelaide Oval on January 2019.
He was selected for the Test series against Australia on October 2020 but due to an injury to Mohammed Shami, he chose after the Navdeep Saini. But on December 2020 he made his test debut against Australia. In January 2021 during the fourth Test, he took his first five-wicket in Test Cricket.
On the month of October 2018, he was selected for the National Team of India for the Deodhar Trophy in the 2018-19 season. The next year 2019 on October he also selected for India B team for the Deodhar Trophy.
In the Indian Premier League of 2017, he was bought by the Sunrisers Hyderabad for the $ 0.36 Millions (Rs2.6 Cr). In the next IPL season in 2018 Royal Challengers Bangalore bought him.
On October 2020 he becomes the first bowler in the IPL history to bowl two maiden overs in a single match.
