She has also an older sister named Mari, she is also a professional tennis player. At the age of three, she moved from Japan to New York United States with her parents.

Career

She becomes a professional tennis player in September 2013 at the age of sixteen. She entered her first two qualifying draws on the WTA Tour that same month at The 2013 Challenge Bell in Québec and the second one is the 2013 Toray Pan Pacific Open in Tokyo.

She began her 2016 first WTA by playing three tournaments in Australia. She becomes the near top 100 players which allow her to play in WTA tour Level events all year. She qualified for the first Grand Slam main draw at the Australian Open. She also received the wild card for the Miami Open.

During the tournaments, she won two matches & becomes in the top 100 of the WTA rankings for the first time. In Melbourne 2016 Ukrainian tennis player Elina Svitolina defeated Victoria Duval in straight sets, before losing to her in the second round.

This achievement helps her to regain the top 50 within the month.

Tennis legend Serena Williams suffered back to back early exits at Indian Wells and Miami, losing in the third round at Indian Wells to her sister Venus and the first round at Miami to the 2018 Indian Wells champion. At the 2019 Cincinnati Open, she was defeated by American professional Serena Williams and Sofia Kenin respectively. Czech professional tennis player Karolina Pliskova defeated her to take Pan Pacific Open 2018 in her eleventh career title.In the Canadian Open 2018 Polish professional tennis player Iga Swiatek’ upset No. 18  Danish former professional Caroline Wozniacki before losing to her.

At the  2020 US Open American professional tennis player Jennifer Brady recorded another straight-set win over the 23rd seed Russian-born Kazakhstani professional tennis player Yulia Putintseva to reach her first Grand Slam semifinal, where she lost to her in three sets.

Canadian professional Bianca Andreescu made her next return at her home tournament, the 2020 Canadian Open, where Bianca won her second high-level Premier tournament of the year. Bianca’s  17-match win was ended in the quarterfinals of the China Open by her.

In the 2021 Australian Open she recorded straight-sets wins over Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova, Caroline Garcia, and Ons Jabeur, before defeating Garbiñe Muguruza in three sets in the fourth round without facing match points during the second set.
