Early life

 He was born on the 5th  August 1990 in San Antonio,Texas. He Graduated from the Louisiana State University Laboratory School which is the capital city of U.S.States Louisiana.He started his college golf career in 2008 at The University of Georgia in Athens.

Career

At the age of twenty, he became a professional golfer in 2011 after the NCAA Championships. Next year he played in 12 events on the PGA Tour on sponsors exemptions and through Monday qualifying. He made seven cuts and earned $300,000 (Rs 2.17Cr).

In 2013 he became the 12th first time PGA Tour winner of the year with his win at  The Wyndham Championship in a playoff against Jordan Alexander Spieth.

In The Desert Classic in 2014, he set the PGA Tour record for most strokes under par after 54 holes. The previous record was 25-under-par. It was also the first time in PGA Tour history that a player opened a tournament with three rounds of 63 or better than earlier. 

The same year in the month of March he won The WGC-Workday championship in Miami Florida. He earned $1.53 million (Rs 11.11Cr) with the one-shot win. He became only the fifth golfer to earn three PGA Tour wins before his 24th birthday in 1990. He is also the youngest winner of a WGC event.

At The Sentry Tournament of Champions on January 12th 2015 he won his fourth PGA Tour title by defeating American golfer James William Walker in a sudden-death playoff. Before his 25th birthday, he became the fourth player in the last two decades to win four times on the PGA Tour. The win makes him ranks in career-best OWGR ranking of 14th.

In the month of August 2016, he won his first FedEx Cup playoff event. It was his fifth victory on the PGA Tour and first FedEx Cup event win. This achievement ranks him in the 7th position to the top of the FedEx Cup Standings.

The 2017 PGA Championship in 2017 on the final day of the tournament he had three birdies on the back to get to within a shot of the lead.

In the 2018 Masters Tournament after entering into the final round, he led the Masters by three strokes over Northern Ireland golfer Rory McIlroy.He ranks on No. 11 in the world rankings and collected $1.98 million (Rs 14.37 Cr). It helps him to finish second in the tournament to Dubai rankings presented by the Rolex along with the Open Champions Francisco Molinari. He received the award of Life membership of the European Tour at the start of the 2019 season after the victory of his Masters in the previous year.

In The WGC-Workday championship he won his second World Golf championship he shot a final-round 4-under 67 to win by one shot over American golfer Bryson DeChambeau .In January 2020 he won The Sentry Tournament of Champions at Kapalua Resort which is in Hawaii. Justin Thomas achieved it for the second time. He won in a playoff over American Alexander Schauffele & Patrick Reed.

He married Justine Karain on the 21st December 2012.They have two daughters Windsor-Wells and Kessler karain.
