Simone Biles is an American artistic gymnast who is the most widely considered gymnast & one of the greatest and most dominant female gymnasts of all time. At the 2016 Summer Olympics which was organised in Rio de Janeiro, the second most populated city in Brazil.

She is a five-time world all-around champion ( 2013,2015 & 2018),five-time World floor exercise champion ( 2013,2015 & 2018),three-time World balance beam champion (2014 & 2019), two-time World vault champion (2018 & 2019),a seven-time United States National all-round champion ( 2013,2016,2018 & 2021), and a member of the gold medal-winning American teams at the 2014,2015,2018 & The 2019 Artistic Gymnastics World Championships.She is the gymnast with most world medals of Twenty-five and most World gold medals of nineteen. 

Early Life

She was born on 14th March 1997 in Columbus, the State capital and most populated city of Ohio in the United States. Her father’s name is Ronald Biles & mother is Shanon Biles. In 2012 she shifted from private school to home school & becomes a graduate in 2015.

In November 2014 she signs her National letter of Intent with , The University of California & Los Angeles. The National Letter of Intent is a document used to indicate a student-athlete participating in (NCAA) .On 29th July 2015, she announced she would become professional and cancelled her NCAA Eligibility for competing for UCLA. In January 2018 she enrolled for  University of People an online college for study Business Administration. She is one of the most notable gymnasts to be watched her performance in the Tokyo Olympics 2021.

She started taking gymnastic training at the age of eight under the American artistic Gymnast Coach Aimee Boorman. Her senior International debut was in The American Cup 2013 which was an International Gymnastics Federation, World Cup event. She continued for two rotations but finished second after her teammate Katelyn Ohashi.

In August 2013 she competed at the 2013 “World Artistic Gymnastics Championships” in Antwerp, Belgium. She qualified first for all rounds this achievement makes her the first American Gymnast to qualify to the all-around and all four event finals since American former artistic gymnast Shannon Lee Miller did it in 1991.

At the age of sixteen, she becomes the seventh American Gymnast and the first American African to win the world all-around title. 

On 17th September 2014, she qualified for the 2014 “Artistic Gymnastics World Championships” in Nanning, the capital and the largest city by population of the Guangxi Zhuang in Southern China. During the meeting final, she led the United State to its second consecutive world team championship, which they won over the second-place Chinese team by nearly seven points.

On 25th July 2015, she competed at the US classic and first finished in All round ahead of 2012 Olympic all-around champion American artistic gymnast Gabby Douglas & American former collegiate Artistic gymnast Maggie Nichols.

She has five Olympic medals from the 2016 Rio games, four gold medals and one bronze. She is also one of the favourite artistic gymnasts in the Tokyo Summer Olympics 2021. According to CNBC, she has earned from per medals in 2018
