Who is Young Thug?

He is an American rapper, singer and songwriter. He is such a kind of singer who is a combination of both hip hop and trap music. He becomes a global rapper from the song “Stoner” &  “Danny Glover” in 2014. He has also featured in a hit song named “Havana” with Cuban born American singer Camila Cabello in 2017. Song also becomes his first number-one single on the billboard hot 100. He won the  Grammy award in 2019 in the Song of the year category for his writing of the song “This Is America”.He has also reached number one on the Billboard hot 100 for the second time featuring with Travis Scott single “Franchise”.

Early life

He was born on 16th August 1991 in Atlanta, the Capital and the most populous city of Georgia, United State. 

Career

He started his singing career in 2010 with a guest appearance in the song “She Can Go”.After that, he released a mixtape series I Came from Nothing throughout 2011 and 2012. His talent recognised by American rapper Gucci Mane. After that, he signed with his record level 1017 Global Music & Asylum Records in 2013. Under this record label, he released his self-titled mixtape which received positive reviews.

In March 2017 he was featured on Canadian rapper Drake’s song  “Sacrifices” and “Ice Melts”.He was also featured on Scottish singer and record producer Calvin Harris’s song “Heatstroke” with American singer and actress Ariana Grande and  American singer and songwriter Pharrell  Williams which was released in March 2017. The same year in September he released an EP with American DJ and record producer DJ Carnage titled Young Martha. On 13th  October 2017, American rapper songwriter Chris Brown released his promotional single “High End”.The song featured by him & the American Trap artist future.

He released the single “The London” on 23rd May 2019 featuring  American rapper and singer J.Cole & Travis Scott. His debut studio album “so much fun” released on 16th August 2019. In the album, he featured in guest appearances like American rapper and singer  Gunna, Lil Baby, Lil Duke, J. Cole, Travis Scott and many other rapper-singer. Album ranks number one on U.S Billboard 200.

He collaborated with American rapper and singer Chris Brown on 29th April 2020 for his mixtape Slime & B which released on 5th May 2020. Its lead single “Go Crazy” ranks number three on the Billboard hot 100. It also becomes his highest-charting single as a lead artist. In October 2020 American rapper and songwriter, Megan Thee Stallion released her single “Don’t Stop” featuring which also create so many records in the music industry.

Jeff Weiss of (BBC) called him the “most influential rapper of the 21st century. According to a New York-based Magazine “The Fader,” his voice is beautiful. He is also notable in the music industry for his fast working process and developing  Quik lyrics on the spot. He has also stated that American rapper Gucci Mane & Kanye West is his singing inspiration.

The American Music and entertainment magazine Vibe noted his name as the most charismatic Personality in today’s hip hop. American technology company Rovi Corporation told him as the “fashion icon.” of the current generation. A Washington based newspaper The Seattle Times has written that he is very much regular in his Instagram account with painted fingernails. Featuring him & American rapper and songwriter Lil Yachty  American rapper singer-songwriter Lil Baby released his mixtape “Perfect Timing”. 

He has purchased a beautiful house based in Buckhead, Atlanta of 11,000 square feet for $ 2.5 million (Rs 18.32 Cr).
