He is the youngest member of vocalist in the South Korean boy band BTS & singer-songwriter. According to Gallup Korea in 2019 Jungkook is the third Most lovable celebrity of the year in South Korea. He also mentioned that Canadian singer Justin Bieber and American singer-songwriter Justin Timberlake is his biggest inspiration in music.

Early life

 Jeon Jung-kook Who is better known by his stage name Jungkook Was born on 1st September 1997 in South Korea’s second-most populous city Busan. He has an elder brother along with his parents in his family. He took his admission at the  “Baekyang Elementary and Middle School” in Busan. After becoming a trainee he was transferred to “Singu Middle School” which is in Seoul. He becomes a graduate in 2017 from the school of “Performing Arts Seoul”. In 2020 he has enrolled at “Global Cyber University”,  in Broadcasting and Entertainment.

Career

He started his career becoming training in Big Hit entertainment. In 2012 summer vacation he went to Los Angeles to receive dance training from the “Movement Lifestyle”.On 12th June 2013, he released the single 2 Cool 4 Skool along with his band members.

BTS  is also named Bangtan Boys is a seventh number boy band in South Korea. along with him, there is six other number in the team Vocalist V & Jin, Rapper RM, J-Hope, Suga & Lead vocalist Jimin. The group name BTS stands for the Korean expression Bangtan Sonyeondan, literally meaning “Bulletproof Boy Scouts”.The group formation of BTS started in 2010 underSouth Korean entertainment company The Big Hit Entertainment CEO  Bang Si-hyuk met with group leader RM and was impressed with his rapping.

In 2012 six months before their debut, they started attention on different social media platform including song covers on online video sharing social media platform YouTube and  Swedish online distribution platform SoundCloud. On 12th June 2013, they released their debut single album 2 Cool 4 Skool.

Under the  BTS he has sung three solo song first, the pop track “Begin” From the BTS second studio album Wings in 2016. The second “Euphoria” was released on 24th August 2018. The third one is the band’s 2020 studio album “Map of the Soul: 7”. On 25th October 2018, he along with his band members has awarded the fifth-class Hwagwan Order of Cultural Merit by the President of South Korea. 

On 6th November 2018, he performed “We Don’t Talk Anymore” with the singer Charlie  Puth in collaboration during The Genie Music Awards.

On 4th June 2020, he released his next song “Still With You” for free on SoundCloud as a part of BTS Yearly celebrations.

The most talented singer and songwriter of BTS have made millions of followers on social media. on Twitter, he has 412.7k Follower and on Instagram, he has 8.2 Million followers as of May 2021.

He is the most searched male K-pop idol on Google in 2019 to their mid-year chart. He again ranks on top of the chart in 2020. He is also the most searched male K-pop idol on YouTube in that same year 2019. On the American microblogging and social networking website Tumblr, he ranked 1st in ‘Top K-Pop Stars’ for three consecutive years.

In March 2021 he breaks many records by receiving most viewers in the South Korean live video streaming Platform V Live. His solo live broadcast crossed 22 million viewers.
