He is an American basketball player who plays for the American Professional basketball team Brooklyn Nets of the National Basketball Association (NBA). In 2016 he signed “The Golden State Warriors” & win Back to back Championship in 2017 & 2018.

Early Life

He was born on 29th September 1988 in Washington, D.C. is the  Capital City of the United States. His father’s name is Wayne Pratt & mother’s name is Wanda. He has two brothers Tony and Rayvonne & one sister Brianna.

He studied at Oak Hill Academy in Virginia and later on shifted to Montrose Christian School for higher studies.

Career/Acheivements

He started her debut season at the SuperSonics relocated from Seattle to Oklahoma City. At the 2009 NBA All-Star Game, he set a Rising Stars Challenge record with 46 points & was considered for the Most Improved Player Award finished third in the voting. Before the starting of the season of 2010-11, he announced on his Twitter account that he has signed a deal of 5 years contract with the Thunder worth approximately $86 million (Rs 6,40.46 Cr).

He recorded his career first 50 point game in the 2011–12 NBA season against the Denver Nuggets. At the NBA All-Star Game, he scored 36 points & was awarded the NBA All-Star Game Most Valuable Player. 2013-14 season in January he averaged 35.9 points per game with the scoring of 30 or more points in 12 straight games against the Golden State Warriors which was his career-high of 54 points.

In April that same year, he crossed American former Basketball player Michael  Jordan’s record of consecutive games scoring 25 points or more at 41. On 4th July 2016, he announced his Intention to signed “The Players’ Tribune”. After 3 days on 7th July, he finally signed with Golden State on a two-year, $54.3 million (Rs 4,04.37 Cr) contract with a player option after the first year.

On 7th July 2018, he resigned with the warriors for the two year Contact for the $61.5 million (Rs 4,57.92 Cr) with a Player option for the second year. On 29th November he scored a season-high 51 points in a 131–128 overtime loss to the Canadian professional basketball team Toronto Raptors.  

He was finally selected for the National Team at the 2010 FIBA World Championship and also become their leader. At the 2012 Olympics, he makes a record for the total points scored in an Olympic basketball tournament. He played a very important role for the national team who win the gold medal. He rejoined the national team in the 2016 Olympic team and again led his team to win the gold medal. For his recognition, he was selected for the 2016 USA Basketball Male Athlete of the Year.

He committed to playing in Tokyo Olympics 2021 which has already been delayed for one year for the covid-19.

He has an endorsement deal with many multinational companies including Nike, American telecommunications company Sprint Corporation, American brands of sports-themed beverages and food products company Gatorade, Italian books and magazine producer company Panini, New York-based American energy and power company General Electric & American video game publisher 2K. 

In 2013 he earned $ 35 million (Rs 2,60.62 Cr) making him the fourth-highest-earning basketball player that year. His name was included in the American news magazine Times magazine’s 100 Most Influential People of 2018.
